A Brief Introduction to the Guangdong Enterprises Association for Foreign Economic Cooperation

The Guangdong Enterprises Association for Foreign
Economic Cooperation (GEAFEC)was established in March
2005 with the approval of the Department of Foreign
Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangdong Province
(GDDOFTEC) and registered with the Department of Civil
Affairs of Guangdong .
GEAFEC is a non-profit business organization sponsored
and jointly organized by the enterprises and companies
in Guangdong that are mainly engaged in making outward
investment and undertaking contracted projects in
foreign countries (regions), as well as in exporting
labor service and other relevant business.
GEAFEC abides by the constitution, laws and regulations
and relevant policies of the state.
The mission of GEAFEC is to provide assistance to
member companies to Ą°going abroadĄ± to promote the
development of outward investment, contracted projects
and labor service in foreign countries (regions).
As the bridge linking the government and enterprises
and entrusted by the Department of Foreign Trade and
Economic Cooperation of Guangdong province, GEAFEC
is committed to undertaking such missions as creating
good environment for membersĄŻ relevant business, mediating
member companiesĄŻ disputes and advocating member interests.
GEAFEC works with members and reports their wish
and suggestions to and discuss solutions with the
government departments.
GEAFEC will do its utmost to contribute to the development
of foreign economic cooperation of Guangdong province.
