Yunfu is also an important agriculture and forest area in Guangdong, the litchi and preserved fruits from Xinxing County, the seedless wampee and Baozhu litchi from Yunan County, the cassia bark and fermented soybean from Luoding are famous both at home and aboard. So far, over 20 agricultural produces have been awarded from the 1st to 5th National Agricultural Expos. Yunfu is a place with picturesque landscapes and a land bringing outstanding personalities. Master Monk Huineng, the Patriarch of Buddhist Zen Sect, the famous leader of labor movements Deng Fa and the famous anti-Japanese patriotic general Cai Tingkai were natives of Yunfu.
